Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern the conditions of use of "AnuEdu" (hereinafter "Service"), a Korean pronunciation learning service provided by Balance Anneau Inc. (hereinafter "Company"). By using the Service, users agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Service Content

• The Service provides a Korean pronunciation dictionary, daily pronunciation quizzes, pronunciation assessment and coaching, learning rewards, and other features.
• The Company may improve or modify the content of the Service.

2. Accounts

• Users may create an account through Google or Apple social login, and may use certain features (e.g., browsing the pronunciation dictionary) as a guest without logging in.
• Users are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date.

3. User Obligations

Users shall not engage in any of the following acts:

• Misappropriating another person's account or personal information
• Interfering with the normal operation of the Service
• Violating applicable laws and regulations or these Terms of Service
• Reproducing, distributing, or commercially exploiting the Service without authorization

4. Intellectual Property Rights

• Rights to the Service and the learning content, software, designs, and other elements included therein belong to the Company or their respective rightful owners.
• Content submitted by users to the Service (e.g., pronunciation recordings) may be used by the Company to the extent necessary for pronunciation assessment and the provision of the Service.

5. Rewards

• Rewards within the Service (e.g., Hwanggeumhyang, AnuRing, etc.) are virtual items granted based on learning activities; they are not redeemable for cash and are subject to change in accordance with Company policy.

6. Paid Services and Payment

• The Company may introduce paid services or subscriptions in the future.
• Separate terms, including fees, payment methods, and refund policies, shall apply to the use of paid services, and payment may be processed through a payment processing provider.
• Relevant details will be separately announced upon the introduction of paid services.

7. Modification and Suspension of the Service

The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service as operationally or technically necessary, and will provide prior notice of material changes.

8. Termination of Agreement and Account Withdrawal

• Users may withdraw their account at any time through the app settings.
• Upon withdrawal, the user's personal information will be destroyed immediately in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

• To the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations, the Company shall not be liable for damages arising from causes beyond the Company's reasonable control, including natural disasters or circumstances attributable to the user.
• The Service is provided for the purpose of supplementary learning assistance and does not guarantee any specific learning outcomes.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes arising in connection with use of the Service shall be resolved in accordance with the procedures prescribed by applicable laws and regulations.

11. Amendments to the Terms of Service

The Company may amend these Terms of Service as necessary, and will provide notice through in-service announcements or the website prior to the effective date of any such amendments.
